- Carl-Eiwar, born Karl-Ejvar Karlsson, 1931 in Skutskär Sweden, was a Swedish radio-producer, stage-director, actor and disc jockey. Born some 161 kilometers north of Stockholm, Carl-Eiwar wasted no time in his hometown. He was trained at Calle Flygare's acting school in Stockholm, became a presenter at the dance hall Nalen, hired by the mighty CEO Topsy Lindblom. In the 1950's Carl-Eiwar spotted talent, directed music shows and toured with Anita Lindblom, Carli Tornehave, Anna-Lena Löfgren and Jerry Williams. He was recruited in 1961 to the music department of Swedens National Broadcasting Service, Sveriges Radio, to manage live shows and pop charts. He also appeared in couple of Swedish feature films. Carl-Eiwar passed away in Stockholm 1974, at the age of 43.
