Jayne Valseca was born on 5 September 1966 in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA. She was an actress and writer, known for Stella (1990), We Have Your Husband (2011) and Dateline NBC (1992). She was married to Eduardo Valseca. She died on 3 May 2012 in Potomac, Maryland, USA.- Born Eda Bliss on 28 September 1959 in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, Edith Bliss was an Australian singer and television presenter. She studied at the University of Queensland; and then moved to Sydney, New South Wales (NSW), Australia in 1979.
While Bliss managed a shoe store, she entered a singer contest and won, with ATV Northern Publishing offering her a contract.
Her singer career saw her release the single "If It's Love You Want" and reached #24 on the Australian Charts in 1979. Her later releases of "Heart of Stone" reached #86 and "Two Single Beds" reached #79. She was also to release the album "Sheer Bliss" in 1980.
Bliss changed career to television presenter, by joining "Simon Townsend's Wonder World"; and remained until at least 1984.
Wonder World was where she met her husband, Mark Tanner, who was the sound mixer for the show. The couple were to have four children, Eden, Madison, Harrison and Lawson.
In 1993, she joined Simon Townsend's team for his new show "TVTV" which was screened by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) in 1993.
In 2006, Bliss appeared as a contest on "Wheel of Fortune", which she won.
2007 she appeared on "What a Year's" episode 1980, as herself. Also in that year, she appeared on the Seven Network's "Where Are They Now", for a "Wonder World" reunion episode.
In 2010 Bliss was diagnosed with ling cancer and passed away on 3 May 2012. The funeral service was held at Normanhurst Uniting Church, Normanhurst (NSW, Australia) on 9 May 2012.
