The team find someone who provides answers; Sam goes undercover and attends a party and breaks it up; G musters a number of helpers, who catch the bad guys; G and Kensi go shopping; G and Sam take matters in hand.
- A Marine is found in an alleyway bleeding out from his eyes, ears and mouth. The team must determine whether he was the victim of a bio-agent and who killed him.

- NCIS investigates the apparent suicide of a Navy intelligence officer who leapt to his death after taking LSD. Also, while Kensi is away, Deeks makes plans to redo the backyard without her input.

Kensi and Aubrey go to the latter's home, where Kensi sees more clues, more people, and a part of a solution; Aubrey leaves, Kensi gets into trouble, and G, Sam, and Deeks ride to the rescue. The team finish putting together the pieces about the death and more.
- Deeks disappears while on an undercover assignment for the LAPD; Hetty offers help, so Callen and company lend a hand; Eric follows a trace to a Serbian bad guy; Deeks shows up and solves the case, and the team get him out of a tight spot.

The team realize that two bad guys had staged the supposed robbery as a deliberate ambush; Eric traces the suspects' car to the hospital, where G and Sam see it and engage them; the driver dies, and the other man escapes but winds up at the boat shed. The team set up G for an undercover meet; while talking with Kensi, Deeks suggests a dangerous idea; Kensi tells Eric that G's walking into a trap; Kensi dashes off to the trap, and Deeks suddenly figures out who's the real target; G and Sam tear back to the hospital, but they arrive late, for the party has already ended. The team put all the pieces together. Hetty brings Deeks up to date on his next of kin.
- One of Sam's aliases receives an invitation to Yemen to meet Abdul; Hetty hopes that Abdul will lead them to Saadat, Abdul's brother, believed to be a leader of terrorists; G and Nate provide backup; the team support, and it all works out.
- A Latino day laborer dies, and a lieutenant commander in Naval intelligence disappears; Callen and company investigate; G and Sam find evidence suggesting an assassination plot against a visiting Venezuelan politician; the team thwart it.
- In Cyprus an NCIS agent dies by murder; the killer lands at LAX, and G grabs and questions him and obtains information through a deal; G infiltrates the hit squad for the next lethal action; the team solve the puzzle and nab the bad guys.
- On state-owned property near Imperial Beach, California, south of San Diego, while four Marines patrol the area (along the US-Mexico border) to support federal customs and immigration agents, unknown people for unknown reasons ambush the Marines and their Humvee; one escapes, and three remain missing; officials wonder whether the intruders are Mexican smugglers; Callen and company investigate. A search party finds the body of one Marine; the lone survivor says that one of the missing is a pregnant lance corporal, and the dead one was the father; a snitch gives a tip to G and Sam, the latter of whom checks it out while playing it cool; Nate suggests an alternate possibility; while Kensi and Deeks take a bike ride, they find something but run into trouble; G and Sam get a lift and lend a hand, then they find evidence confirming Nate's idea. G and Sam put it all together, so they confront the bad guy in charge. Nate prepares for a journey.
- In a parking garage on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California, near Los Angeles, two shoppers find the body of a man less a crudely severed hand, which is missing; the victim was a Marine corporal, stationed at Camp Pendleton and assigned as a clerk in the G2 (intelligence) office with a top-secret clearance; Vance has expressed interest, so Callen and company investigate. Nell, an enthusiastic new analyst who finishes the sentences of others, has arrived for duty. Eric and Nell see a clue about the amputation; the musketeers conduct interviews; Eric and Nell find more clues; G and Sam find a body and another severed hand; Kensi, Eric, and Nell follow a trace to a Muslim jeweler in Beverly Hills; G and Sam start toward a lunch but bump into the jeweler and some friends; Kensi and Deeks meet the jeweler's wife and find a bloody knife; Sam adds a factoid; the team seek and find the real killer and the rest of the story. Kensi arranges to make a special delivery.
- The 14-year-old daughter of a Navy commander is kidnapped and buried alive. The FBI and the team investigate an incarcerated serial killer with an identical MO. Sam's past helps him empathise.
- In downtown LA a lone armed woman seizes a Navy recruiting station; G recognizes her as his former partner while undercover for the CIA; she asks for his help and gets it; the team find the bad guy responsible plus the rest of the story.
- Two men, a Marine reservist and a plastic surgeon, die by gunfire, and a woman disappears; Callen and company investigate; Eric and Nell provide clues, and the team go to a party, where they grab the bad guys and prevent any damage.
- A sergeant first-class retires from the Army, the day he becomes a civilian he is kidnapped. When his tortured body is found, the team must determine the reason behind the extreme cause of death.
- In Hollywood two men ambush a limousine and shoot the occupants to death; Hetty says that the target, Renner, was a Swiss antiques dealer and black marketeer; she persuades the LAPD to allow her to take over the investigation because of the nature of a little black book, which she believes is the object of the activity. While Hetty visits a man in an assisted-living place, G and Sam visit Renner's pad, which someone has tossed; Eric identifies a man, Lee, who appears in a number of photographs around Renner's house; G and Callen visit Lee's office and break up a meeting; Eric says that Lee's two visitors are German "agricultural attachés" (that is, spies); G and Sam question a retired operative, and Kensi and Deeks also search Renner's pad, where they meet two foreigners with alternate identities; Hetty visits the Hollywood Bowl, and the four musketeers rescue her. Hetty again calls on her elderly friend, whom she finds dead, executed by gunfire. [To be continued.]
- Dom shows up as a prisoner on a jihadist website; the OSP team swing into action; Sam sees his friend Moe; a runner provides a lead to a wealthy source of funds for terrorism; Dom escapes with help, and Sam finds him but not soon enough.
- At the Van Nuys Airport, while two boys watch and record flight ops, a bizjet arrives with a prisoner, a shoot-out occurs, and the prisoner (the leader of the TaJ) vanishes; G and company get him, and G figures out the rest of the story.
- While G, Sam, and Kensi visit Keelson's computer center and physical records, the computer files self-destruct, and the premises ignite and burn; however, they rescue several documents, which include a list of G's 37 foster homes and orphanages plus five more addresses, which he does not recognize. The team, tracing clues, find a birth certificate for Amy Callen, now known as Amy Taylor; Hetty sends Sam and Kensi to Amy's place but chats up G; Eric gives G some data; Sam and Kensi find a tossed pad with nobody at home; G pursues a lead and finds a trashed home, the infamous Trent Kort, of the CIA, with whom G previously worked, and who shows him the body of a contact killed by bizarre means. Eric gives clues to G, who traces a lead to Amy, who as a teenager said that she had a brother; while pursuing a van, G runs into trouble, but he finds Amy, who's truly Hannah Lawson, but who tells G about Amy; the cavalry arrives, so they all take care of the bad guys.
- While undercover G realizes that someone tails him, G chases him and watches while the tail dies; G becomes a ghost; two weird phone calls lead to major confrontations with Bulgarians and computer problems. G and the team walk away safely.
- The NCIS team scrambles to find Kensi, when she is attacked and kidnapped by a mysterious militia group while helping a group of migrants cross the border.

During another firestorm the musketeers run a scam on the executioners and therefore on the new convict in a federal prison.
- An unidentified man dies after a beating and a burning; a specific radiopharmaceutical in the body implies a connection to a previous case; Callen and company grab the bad guy. Hetty resigns, disappears, and reappears in Prague. [Continued.]

Madison at home, find two bad guys, exchange fire, and drop one and lose one; Kensi and Deeks visit a Libyan restaurant and get a lead; G and Sam check out a defunct auto-glass shop, where they find a large clue; Kensi and Deeks, along with G and Sam, rediscover the loose Libyan; G and Sam find also a body in a trunk; Sam goes shopping for a lamb, and G, Kensi, and Deeks pitch in; they meet people and deal with them. The team figure out the puzzle and create a solution, which includes Sam's making announcements. Hetty tells G more about his ancestors.

- Both Alex and Jada, from Sudan in a previous episode, have reappeared in Los Angeles; while two NCIS agents (on a protective detail) escort Jada to an office in preparation for her giving a deposition, a masked man in an SUV attacks the trio in their car and escapes without injuring anyone. Kensi and Deeks get a name from Jada, then check a warehouse and catch a bad guy; Alex and his family disappear; Sam offers to play water games; Nell finds Alex, then the foursome chat with him; his behavior perplexes everyone; Kensi and Deeks visit an international business firm, from which they acquire important data; Alex finds the gang, surprises them, and chats them up, then they all pitch in and change their plans. Alex calls the main middleman and proposes a deal, which blows up; Alex gets his family back, and the gang keep Jada but lose the middleman, although another agency catches him later.
- Two men die in LA; a visitor, introduced as an Interpol agent, seeks help with a link to a closed NCIS case; Callen and company pursue a chameleon, who promises to kill G soon and tells why; Granger says he's there to catch a killer.
- G and Sam acknowledge the fifth anniversary of their service as partners. Just outside the LAX airport four masked armed men stop a bulletproof van of the Diplomatic Security Service of the US Department of State, moving two couriers and a wooden crate, having originated in India and now bound for a warehouse in downtown Los Angeles; the bad guys seize the crate and escape with it; Callen and company investigate. G and Sam interview the couriers; Eric and Nell trace one of the trucks, two of the bad guys, and a van; then Kensi and Deeks find the van and the crate, check out the contents, and take part in a gunfight; a crew takes possession of the crate. Granger, the new assistant director, shows up and shows interest; Kensi and Deeks find a body and shoot a fed to death; G and Sam meet a private aircraft and suddenly meet also more people than expected; Sam attacks G, but Kensi and Deeks ride to the rescue; back at the boathouse the team put it all together.

G and Sam meet Antonia, who describes her suspicions about a cover-up; Rose, a medical examiner, explains about the harvesting of tissue, but Antonia objects, saying that Edwin was not an organ donor; Edwin's file has disappeared from the coroner's office. Nate shows up at Hetty's request. Rose becomes a person of interest, and Hetty sends Nate to question her; he takes her to the chat room at the boathouse; a picture begins to appear; Hetty and Nate visit a funeral home, as do G, Sam, Kensi, and Deeks, and they grab the head man; the team finish figuring out the whole thing, and they attend a burial with military honors.
- In Mexico a US joint team makes a raid to capture the head of a drug cartel; due to a leak the team walks into an ambush; Granger tasks the gang to pinpoint the breach; they go undercover, find the leak, grab the head man, and rescue Nell.
- A routine traffic stop turns deadly, and leads the team to a terrorist plot.
- When a petty officer is found dead with an apparent suicide note, the NCIS team must investigate the mystery surrounding his death. Also, Callen and Anna begin wedding planning and Sam has a heart to heart with his daughter.

- Monica becomes the target of an unknown shooter in Hollywood; Deeks, in an undercover role as Max (at the direction of Granger), rescues her; Monica is a hostess at a nightclub, which is a property of a South African who's now a legitimate businessman, but who previously worked as an international dealer in illegal arms. G and Sam visit the club, and Nell identifies the shooter as Pieter, an enforcer from South Africa; G and Sam take a different tack with Pieter, so they meet him and take him to the boathouse; Max has an unusual short-term relationship with Monica, who steals blood diamonds and shows them to Max, then both she and the stones disappear, but Kensi and Deeks find her and them. G and Sam chat with Pieter, who reluctantly talks; Kensi and Deeks chat with Monica, who agrees to cooperate; the team monitor an exchange, minimize the damage, and grab three bad guys; later Kensi and Deeks get something clear. Granger never shows up.
- The search for the bombs continues, as the team work to rescue Sam and Deeks, and keep Michelle safe.
- An aircraft crashes in Burbank, killing all aboard. At first it appears the pilot inexplicably flew straight into the runway, but as the team investigates they find evidence of murder. Nate returns to evaluate Sam and Deeks.
- Deeks returns; in LA the CEO of a biotech firm dies in an explosion of his car; the firm does research for a vaccine against the deadly ricin virus; the G team figure out the bombing and a theft by extortion, and they catch the bad guys.
- In broad daylight three bad guys forcibly abduct Robin, the girlfriend of William, a recently discharged Naval intelligence officer, who specialized in the design of highly classified drone navigation; G and Sam find William in his office, and Nell joins them; a bad guy calls William, so the foursome converge on a building just in time for an explosion; Eric belatedly catches an important clue; William and Oscar, his business associate, make admissions; the foursome rush a rural shack and wipe out the kidnappers, but they do not find Robin, whom Nell then sees at William's office; G and Sam take William and Robin to the boatshed; Eric joins Nell in the field to protect his interest; on G's order Kensi and Deeks shift gears, and they produce; Nell uses a piece of hardware to detain Oscar for G and Sam, who have put the pieces together; the team take the bad actors in custody; all six of the field workers head out for a debriefing over cold beer.
- At a research facility of the US Department of Energy in Los Angeles, an intruder steals electronic data and leaves, then a third thug shoots the thief and his wheelman, then a security guard intervenes, and the third bad guy shoots the guard while the wheelman escapes, leaving the thief and the guard on the pavement and taking the stolen data; the guard was a retired Marine gunnery sergeant; the data pertains to an antiterrorism nuclear-detection system. G and Sam visit the home of the wheelman, whom they find dead; G and Sam visit the injured guard; Nell does a chore for Hetty, Eric provides data, and Hetty serves as backup; the foursome respond to an alarm and find a person of interest but no bomb or other hot material; Nell sees a special person, G and Sam grab him, and Hetty chats him up at the boatshed; the foursome, with Nell's help, pull a scam on a bunch of Russkis, recover the data, then move out; Granger freaks out, but everything works out.
- Someone abducts a German immigrant man; Hetty sends G to Camp Pendleton; everyone else on the team starts working on the abduction; G tails them and joins them; Arkady lends a hand; the gang figure out some of it, and Hetty tells the rest.
- A joint task force (involving the CIA, FBI, and NCIS) raid a meeting in a house in an attempt to capture members of the Molina drug cartel and the Al Qaeda; however, they walk into an ambush; the new SecNav, suspecting a mole or other leak, directs the Callen team to investigate and correct; at the boatshed Kensi and Deeks interview four participants in the raid; Eric determines that the problem is not a mole but rather a hacker, which, Hetty says, is even worse; on the cellphones of two agents Eric discovers the hacker's malware, which allowed the hacker to intercept all calls, both incoming and outgoing; in an alley the foursome grab the hacker (Cindy, a 15-year-old girl) and her laptop computer; G suddenly becomes a substitute teacher, then he finds the track coach wearing a belt as a necklace; Eric finds a link and the man responsible; the gang figure out everything; with Cindy's help the team grab the bad guy who misused Cindy and her activities.

- During a Marine-sponsored charity-benefit volleyball tournament at Venice Beach, a car bomb explodes, killing two and injuring 29; promptly an aggressive TV reporter, Dana, says on the air that, according to sources, an Iran-based Islamic militant group, the JLF, is responsible for the bomb. One honcho at the DoHS firmly denies that the JLF is responsible; G and Sam lean on Dana, who gives a name; Eric finds another lead; Eric and Nell exchange notes; Kensi and Deeks chat with a man who believes in alien creatures who watch everyone; G and Sam make a productive stop at a car-rental shop; Kensi and Deeks learn some disturbing news; Dana dies, and Sam collars her killer, Bakri Deng, from South Sudan, who first refuses to cooperate; Kensi and Deeks learn about Deng, and Eric and Nell learn even more; G and Sam find the truth and an explanation, then, with Deng's help, they intervene with two other bombs and bombers and neutralize them. The foursome also receive love notes.
- While investing the death of a missing submarine officer, which first resembles a suicide, the G team find conflicting clues and other evidence; G and Sam discover a distinctive vessel, they board it, and it gets underway. [Continued.]

- At an avionics firm in LA four armed thugs steal a flash drive containing software pertaining to a drone for the US Navy; Sam knows the lead engineer on the drone project; the G team figure out everything and find the bad guys and a child.
- Callen and Sam are trapped in an armed submarine that terrorists have aimed to hit an aircraft carrier in San Diego. Meanwhile, Hetty defies orders and forgoes her trip to Washington, as the team tries to locate and save Callen and Sam and prevent the terrorist attack.
