Harold, the inn's caretaker, is a taxidermist whose mental and physical deficiencies are advantageous to Mrs. Pratt. While the inn's guests scheme against Johnson, the masked killer has made many unsuccessful attempts on his life. Later he finds Doc's corpse being readied for stuffing and realizes that he must discover the killer's identity or suffer the same fate. In the exciting climax, Johnson wrestles with the knife-wielding killer in the Chapel of the Dead as a fire threatens to reduce the island to cinders.

More unsettling, Juan has received confirmation of rumors regarding his marriage. His wife, Andrea, has admitted having an affair with Daniel in her husband's absence. Yet, not being free of sin, Juan decides to forgive. At Juan's insistence, to prove that there are no hard feelings, he and Andrea accompany Daniel to Key Largo on a scuba diving weekend, a trip that was once a tradition between old friends. In an isolated, dive motel, Heili, a local teenager wiser than her years, intersects the triangle and forces Juan to relive his relationship with Cindy, a fifteen-year-old guerrilla soldier who died because of his escape. Juan's recklessness and jealousy drives Andrea towards Daniel. However, Daniel, fed up with of her previous rejections decides not to play her game. Wanting to put an end to the trip, Andrea lies to Juan about Daniel's intentions. Juan realizing that his wife is not longer in love with him, is pushed to take drastic measures. The film takes you over Colombian mountains, underwater, out to sea, and into the tormented psyche of a master manipulator as he struggles to assimilate and understand his role in a series of love triangles.

Jack flies out planning to sell the shop, fly back to New York and use the money to get back into the stock game. When he gets to the reef however, he soon discovers he is in for more than he bargained for in business, love and battle! Jack meets a cute girl, Lisa when he first arrives and soon discovers she's his chief dive instructor. Mr. Krampus (played by Asner), the nice old man in those scuba store commercials on TV, turns out to be Jack's new nemesis and worst nightmare and wants to see Jack headed back to NYC ASAP! Will Jack stay and fight for Rainbow Reef or will he head back to the Big Apple? What are Mr. Krampus's plans for the scuba shop and it's good hearted yet quirky crew of employees? And what about Lisa? Will Jack ever see her again? Will Lisa care? You never know what might happen out on Rainbow Reef.
