Auf karger Bühne und mit einfachen Mitteln entfalten sie die düstere Geschichte dieses toxischen Ehepaares als absurde Farce. Regisseur Johan Simons verbindet mit Jens Harzer bereits eine langjährige künstlerische Zusammenarbeit. Mit seinem "Macbeth" gelingt dem Niederländer schon die achte Einladung zum Berliner Theatertreffen. Jens Harzer, den man auch aus Serien wie "Babylon Berlin" kennt, ist zum dritten Mal als Teil einer "bemerkenswerten Inszenierung" in Berlin dabei.
