- There's an unfortunate case of mistaken identity, as the vicar puts his foot in it at Edna's funeral. When Terry returns from the funeral, he discovers that new arrivals the Corkhills have dumped his belongings outside number 10.
- Doreen changes all the locks. Another visitor arrives at the Collins', but Paul finds the solution in a book of raffle tickets.
- Leo looks forward to his first day at a new primary school. Terry considers whether to invest in another of Barry's ventures. The Dixons - DD, Ron, Jacqui, Mike and Tony - move in to the Close.

- Bobby throws some hurtful allegations at Sheila, and they both seek solace in their own way. Terry makes a rash decision when he hears of Sue's resignation. Tracy and Jamie move out.
- Mick convinces Leo to go back to school. Sinbad tries to rebuild his window round by calling on the new residents of the Close. Barry goes undercover to investigate a new warehouse for the next rave.
- Sammy is mortified when Owen tells Mike about her drinking. Patricia returns home to find a mad fruit and veg man forcing carrots across the Farnham battle line. Mick discovers from Leo's teacher the true nature of his problem at school.
- At Damon's final farewell, Barry decides to set the record straight. New residents arrive on the Close.
