- Hacking at Leaves documents artist and hazmat-suit aficionado Johannes Grenzfurthner as he attempts to come to terms with the United States' colonial past, Navajo tribal history, and the hacker movement. The story hones in on a small tinker space in Durango, Colorado, that made significant contributions to worldwide COVID relief efforts. But things go awry when Uncle Sam interferes with the film's production.
- In his epic debut "Am Weltenrand sitzen die Menschen und lachen", Philipp Weiss explores five different destinies, of five different characters, during five different periods of what is colloquial known as Anthropocene. Split into five interwoven novels, each following their own style (encyclopaedia, novel, diary, graphic novel), Weiss tells a story of mankind's struggle into the modern age. At an abandoned nuclear power plant, that is identical to the one in Fukushima, where a part of his story is set, he talks to Theodora Bauer about how his work came to be. Also: Alexander Nitzberg talks about his life as literary translator, on occasion of his reinterpretation of Bulgakow's "Die weiße Garde".
