- The inspiring principle of the adaptation of the novel by R. L. Stevenson "The Black Arrow" for Tv is to shift the conflict of the War of the Two Roses from England to Tirolo, at the border between Italy and Germany, where the conflict between the Pope and the Empire takes place in the same years. This is the transition period in which Middle Age - embodied in the tyrannical feudatory Raniero von Rottemburg - gives way to Modern times - represented by Cusano and his Court. The main theme of the novel is that one cannot fight against evil by doing evil. The protagonists of our series will come to understand that the aim does not justify the means and that justice has to replace revenge. The Black Arrow is a Bildungsroman about growth and love in wartime: at the end of the 15th century the nobles connected to the Asburgo's Court fight against those related to the Church and to its spiritual master Nicolo Cusano - Nikolaus von Kues - bishop of Bressanone. The men of The Black Arrow, a group of outlaws, stay apart from this conflict: they fight the injustices and abuses of power and they pursue their own project of vengeance, but they will have to choose which side of the conflict they belong. Marco of Monforte (19 years old) is Raniero von Rottenburg's adopted son: his adopted father is power-hungry and sides with Asburgos; Giovanna Bentivoglio (18 years old) is bishop Cusano's beloved pupil and heiress of the coveted feud of Fanes. The two youths seem destined to be enemies but fate plans something different: they happen to meet on the battlefield where Giovanna, who is an excellent archer, has disguised herself as a man to have the opportunity to fight. From then on, their destinies are indissolubly bonded. Thanks to the men of The Black Arrow, Marco soon discovers the truth about his father's death - he was killed by Raniero when Marco was only a child - and thus, definitively enters the world of the adults. Giovanna will also be forced to grow up rapidly in order to face the mystery about her past. The birth and growth of love between the two lovers is continuously put to the test by vicissitudes and deceptions of false supporters. The long and pernicious war will also cross their paths, it will be very difficult for them to discern the differences between true friends and toes, but they will also meet sincere friendship, love and loyalty. In every adventure's tale there is a happy end, and Marco and Giovanna will finally be able to make their dream come true.

There the hostages were released. The wounded terrorist was Hans-Joachim Klein. At the moment that Klein arrived in Algiers, he decided to quit terrorism. The only question was how. Quitting would be seen as treason, and Carlos was known for his relentless position about this. Klein escaped with the help of an old comrade from the student movement. This comrade was Daniel Cohn-Bendit, and he would continue to help him in subsequent years, until Klein's arrest in 1998. When Klein broke away from terrorism, he took refuge in the countryside of Normandy and continued to hide there for many years. At that time, he posed as a journalist for the German magazine 'Der Spiegel.' The villagers in his area knew who Klein really was, but they let his terrorist past rest. He wrote a book in which he broke with his terrorist past. Klein blamed himself for realizing too late what terrorism was about. He now sees that he was used by Middle East organizations. While Klein thought the OPEC action was in support of the Palestinian cause; in reality it turned out to be a way for Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi to get a better grip on OPEC. Klein believed in the idealism of terrorism, but there proved to be great political powers at work that had their own agenda. In 1998, Klein let himself be arrested in Normandy. He was fed up with living underground. For five years, Klein didn't come out of his cell; he sat in heavily protected prisons in Stuttgart and Frankfurt, where murderers and pedophiles were imprisoned. Klein read the complete Marcel Proust epic, 'A la rec

- Based on a true story during World War 2, Mud Lounges is an introspective journey into the thoughts and emotions of a young soldier artist. Through his eyes, he describes a war in a totally different way, fighting of course with the enemy, but above all with himself and with his fears. The protagonist, Pasquale, during a truce in the trenches, reflects on what is going on: his life is hanging by a thread. What if this wire got broken? What would become all the dreams and hopes he has for the future? Right there, he meets a friend, Salvatore, a confident man, whose values of freedom and family help him to face the hardships. He remembers his daughter Sofia and hopes to see her again. The only way to win the war, is fighting with the body and spirit, moulding his own nature and exploiting his own fears to get stronger. By comparing their expectations, the two soldiers are able to freed themselves from the war and they live some moments of serenity: they sit in "mud lounge," a grotesque situation, which recalls artists and writers meeting in the Lounges of '900. Right here the young soldier, talking with his friend, has an epiphany: he wants to create a picture representing a couple of wings, but he doesn't know which colour assign them. The subject was conceived from the director Fabio Cento and Roberta Mangiapane, the screenplay was written by Cento with a well-known artist from Aosta Valley, Manuel Riccardi. The short film was entirely produced and directed by Fabio Cento. The leading actors are Pierre Lucat, in the role of Salvatore and Anthony Circiello, as Pasquale. The shooting took place between November 2011 and January 2012 in Aosta Valley.
