- Job seeks justice in his hometown after 5 years in a Texas prison. David Job and his gang take over the scrub town, putting its kingpins and collaborators on kangaroo trial for railroading Job out, and into prison. Passersby Buz & Tod get rounded up too, with Tod assigned to act as the defense mouthpiece. As Job and local Goliath Harcourt Jr. contend over maid Marion Ross, brother Doodle Job must choose sides.

- Kirby claims a civilian he assaulted is a deserter, but Saunders maintains the MIA Sergeant was killed. With his dying words, Kirby's pal gasped that his Sgt. dropped his carbine and abandoned his men, but Saunders can't imagine the RA tough infantry vet would panic. Then Sgt. Avery shows up in civilian clothes, with a strange tale, but instead of Saunders reporting Avery to the CO, he accompanies him to find a corroborating witness.

- Kojak's team snares child molester Dettrow, who they are forced to release because he has diplomatic immunity and is helping out the FBI. Kojak won't give up on nailing the arrogant serial sex offender, and doubts the FBI's pledge to keep Dettrow under wraps. Dettrow's psychiatrist counsels Kojak that such a compulsive is most likely to nab a child when he's under pressure. Kojak's shields tail the elusive Dettrow to prevent another molestation, so when they spot the East German embassy chauffeur sweating through a furtive meeting with a Red Chinese, Kojak fears Dettrow will soon snatch another boy.
- A couple flee a present-day religious community they've joined but find it's entirely surrounded by an invisible wall. They're the parents of the totally isolated cult's first child, who has a mysterious scar from a ceremony by the cult leader, who they caught sneaking off into the forest and teleporting into thin air. They're spotted by another malcontent, who's been searching for a way out for months. With nowhere to go and everyone else entranced by the idyllic new life, what can they do?
- A failing mining operation in the Mexican hills has claimed its latest 'victim'; the American project engineer is fed up with cave-ins and other recurring problems. Unexpectedly, a car pulls up with two occupants. One is the mine's financier. The other man is supposedly an associate of his. With the mine needing only five more weeks of drilling and his project engineer on the verge of quitting, the desperate financier has run out of options and asks his associate to help make the engineer stay. He agrees, on one condition. The man's plan? Have the financier drive off right away leaving the engineer, as well as the financier's associate, stuck at the mine. With no options for at least 5-6 weeks, the engineer reluctantly agrees to continue the work. That night, the engineer hears a news report on the radio regarding the murder of a building project official in southern California, allegedly committed by a man who has fled to Mexico. Suspecting the new arrival from America and fearing for his life, the engineer tries to make a quick exit, but the financiers' associate walks in brandishing a gun. The two agree to a truce, albeit a temporary one, till the job is completed. As long as the truce is in effect, the engineer doesn't have to fear the associate killing him, and he'll continue to do his work. But after the job's completed, it's anyone's guess what will happen, leading to a twist at the end.

Her newlywed sister was backed off a cliff while having her photo snapped, so the younger sister is understandably leery of heights, but not of her very understanding new in-laws.

The dying Bryan can't figure whether Bevins' gorgeous fiancée is really trying to help him, or running interference for sleazy Harry.

- A mysterious scuba diver drags a beautiful woman underwater to her death, and Paul Bryan is asked by her twin sister to investigate, because the Milan polizia rule the death accidental, though the victim was a strong swimmer. Bryan poses as an insurance investigator, because the woman's policy has a double indemnity clause, and she was in the midst of a divorce, planning to wed an industrial titan. Her estranged husband, philandering playboy Chips Harley, claims they were going to reconcile, so it wasn't him, but he happened to also be in Milan that day.
