- Osvald, stripped of honor of being leader of children's party, prepares a terrible revenge.
- In the course of one night, the world of real and fairy tale characters collide, the ruler Theseus plans a wedding, the capricious elf king Oberon longs to punish his consort Titania, and above all, two lovers wander through the night entwined in love. And few notice that a threat is at the beginning of the comedy - Egeus, Hermia's father, appeals to the ruler Theseus for his right. If his daughter does not want the man he has chosen for her husband, he intends to send his daughter to her death. And so it is just as well that Oberon and the gnome Puck in his service use the magic flower to stir the feelings of both Demetrius and Lysander.
- Lada is a little boy who likes to read fiction and has a great imagination. He figures out that his sister Eva's boyfriend is a vampire, and so he and his brother put him through various tests that, in effect, cause Eva and her boyfriend to break up for real. That Lada must eventually make things right again is clear in this comedic romp.
- The fairy tale tells the story of an orphan, Zito, whose life since birth has brought him many injustices, but only until the widowed devil Filistýna falls in love with him. She enables him to correct, through magic, the sinful deeds committed by commoners and rulers alike. Little does the boy know that the ability to cast spells has been bestowed on him by the devil in love only to trick him into hell, even on the day Zito is to marry his beloved Adelka. Will the tiny but clever Zito manage to get out of hell not only Adelka, himself, but also the herbalist who found and raised him as an infant in a field of rye?
- In a cruise restaurant, a country girl watches a happy-looking couple with admiration. The young and beautiful wife is proud of her ten years older husband, a successful professor with a refined demeanor. However, her brief encounter with a sincere and open young man who confesses his love for her in a strange way causes the heroine to lose her confidence. She doubts whether it was right that her husband did not want children and whether she lived happily at all. She longs to leave this young man.

Grandma decides to go to her hometown to visit her old friend. She doesn't find her, but her life changes - she meets a young family who seem to need her help.
- When Anna Mrácková's husband left, she devoted all her energy to her daughters. But she couldn't raise them with such diligence and such ambition and purpose and reliability, so she has an older one at home married to a student who doesn't study, photographs for a "lucrative" business from which no one sees anything, and whose child is cared for by her grandmother, and a younger one who is lazy, doesn't go to school, and is threatened with not being allowed to graduate, however falsely she fudges it by saying that "Mommy was taken to the hospital." And the mom toils for the girls, toils for the girls, even takes a second job as a cleaner, finds a typing job for her older daughter (and then manages that at night), she just about cuts herself. Then when she goes to a psychiatrist, she finds her former admirer in him. He advises her to weaken her care for her children and even makes an appointment with her. Suddenly the mother has fashionable clothes and a fashionable hairstyle and she has a big fight with the psychiatrist. Now the children are worried - and convinced that 'Grandma has gone mad'.
- Hlavsa, the widely respected manager of a small-town pawn shop, commits embezzlement because of his whimsical and dissolute wife, and when the situation cannot be saved, he shoots himself. His mother, a simple village woman, takes in her widowed daughter-in-law and teenage grandson on the condition that they both help her make up for all the damage. For the city lady, the hard village work is an ordeal. The same for young Borík, a gifted pianist who finds it hard to give up his dreams of a career as an artist.
- Mr. Kraus never stopped being a good actor. Because he never was. His tragedy is that he never knew or suspected it. He never admitted that he had no talent. Of course, he was not successful, but he saw the reason for his failure in other things, in the lack of opportunity for a good role, in the inability to "forge ahead". Perhaps a series of circumstances and examples easily gave him that idea. But what about his talented ex-wife?
- The first Slovak feature film made after the Second World War. Before the First World War, many Slovaks emigrated to America in search of a better life, because Slovakia was oppressed by the ruling Hungarian government and people could not find work. Like others, Ondrej Muranica, a young mountaineer, goes overseas to find work and earn money for his family in the New World of his dreams. However, his dreams and hopes for a better life are dashed by a mining disaster. Ondrej is saved, but loses his memory. He is declared missing and when he accidentally regains his memory years later, Ondrej decides to return home. Only after returning to his homeland does he discover that his wife Eva has married his best friend Miso. As if on cue, disaster looms.
- Karel, according to his habit, is spending this winter in the woods and in abandoned cabin settlements. He doesn't steal, doesn't destroy, he has worked out a system to survive with the minimum and leave no trace. But something's different now. Even though Karel knows how to avoid people, he increasingly feels like he's being watched. The stalker eventually turns out to be a kid on the run from the law.
- The amusing carousel of piquant misunderstandings and crazy confusions begins when the don Juan Edmond Pontignac chases an unknown beauty on the street. But she is the wife of his friend Vatelin, whose fidelity is not without its blemishes. It is therefore no wonder that the two deceived women decide to take cunning revenge.
- New tenants are gradually moving into the new prefabricated house, which is still being finished by a bunch of masons, and the house is also undergoing a house-approval committee. The commission finds many deficiencies in the house, many things are not working, and in the end all the tenants leave. The musical program is made up of snippets of period popular hits, brass songs and ditties, which are used to move the simple plot along.

- Alois Randa, the manager of the mountain hotel, is overwhelmed with worries: he is expecting a large number of tourists, he cannot cook and his only employee, Miluska, the maid, is packing her bags. She won't stand Bohous any longer. Bohous is Randa's giant St. Bernard who refuses to respect Miluska's privacy. So the maid is gone, but the first guest arrives, hungry as a St. Bernard. The proud owner of the St. Bernard makes a bizarre bet with him - if the guest manage to eat more courses than Bohous, he will be guaranteed a free week's stay. If he fails, he'll be hotel's new maid for a week.
- Two former friends from the military service, Ivan and Jirka, reunite in a hotel where they are on holiday. While Jirka and his wife Zuzana are always arguing and arguing, Ivan and his wife Helenka live in complete peace and quiet. So Ivan proposes to Jirka and his wife to spend a few days with them in their apartment to learn how to live as a calm and balanced couple.
- Helenka, a textile student, invents the ideal man, who is the envy of all her friends. The dreamy and brooding Helenka defends herself against her complexes with an imaginary lover, her more realistic friend Zuzka would also prefer the dream Patrik, but in the end she will probably be happy with the less ideal Honza, and the self-confident vulgar nymphomaniac Sylva flits like a butterfly from one lover to the next, only to end up waiting for the dream Patrik.
- The heroines of the film are three elderly ladies who work as cleaners in a Prague inter-hotel. Their duty is to "search" the entire hotel every day, from the basement to the attic. So it is not surprising that they come across many things along the way. They didn't expect to find a wallet with a lot of money in it.
- The story of two communist friends, one of whom leaves as secretary to the district committee of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia and the other remains in the village as a party agitator. In the very complex process of village association, the views of the two friends come into conflict. The struggle of these different opinions ends tragically for one of them. The basic idea of the film's story is the relationship of party officials to the party-less, the idea of the responsibility of communists in the former socialist state.
- Two happy married people, Michal and Blanka, experience a regrettable mistake: the wife leaves home with their young son, but unfortunately the husband does not find the letter explaining why. Normally he would wait until the matter explains itself, he does not believe that his wife would just leave him, but he is subjected to many pressures: from his own parents, his neighbor, his mother-in-law and his "good friends". They all advise immediate divorce as the only solution.
- The illegitimate child, Marie Ruzová, grows up in the family of the miller Borický. She spends her childhood and youth with Borický's son, Klement. Klement studies law, becomes a lawyer and is to marry Jirinka. Her mother, however, fears Klement's relationship with Marie and threatens the Borickýs that she will not give her Jirinka to Klement as a wife. In order not to cause further contradictions, Marie secretly leaves for Prague at night. There she earns a hard living as a waitress.
- In 'Chintamani and birds', we witness the collector's obsession of M.D. Vitásek, who discovers a unique Persian carpet in a junk shop. The journey to acquire it is more than a little harrowing. The owner of the junk shop, Mrs. Severýnová, has no idea about the value of the carpet and so she uses it as a bed for her female dog Amina. The noble Dr. Vitasek eventually gets involved with a burglar because of his passion. / In 'Tales of a Marriage Swindler', Inspector Holub searches for a previously unknown and elusive man who has swindled tens of thousands of crowns from lonely elderly women. What is his surprise when, after some time, he tracks down a well-known firm, the former lottery ticket swindler Mr. Plichta. He had to acquire five gold teeth after his prison term, which made him look attractive and trustworthy to the old ladies. And so he began to put his newfound ability to good use. And he can't stop even after his arrest, on his way to the police station.
- A film about the last years of Karel Capek's life. Although the film is conceived as a family drama in which human relationships play an important role, its overall message is dominated by the social dimension. It can also be called 'Capek Against Destruction' - against the rising fascism in Central Europe, against the threat to fragile democratic freedoms. The film is a kind of mosaic of events and relationships that influenced Karel Capek and that come back to him in feverish dreams and memories during his illness.
- The journalist Smíd meets his old lover, the cheerful but simple girl Fanynka, with his friend, a young lawyer. He decides to take care of the girl in all honesty, buys her presents and even arranges a nice flat for her. When he is drafted into the army, he asks his friend Smíd to look after Fanynka for him. After all, he himself intends to employ and educate her intellectually. He gives her the task of reading serious literature once a week, about which the girl is to give him a lengthy testimony in a letter. But Fanynka soon grows tired of her intellectual diet.
- A portrait of a Nazi officer, the commander of a concentration camp, touches on the contradictory sides of his personality - on the one hand, a caring, nurturing family man, on the other, a ruthless Nazi, applying a policy of extermination without restraint. It is this man, who takes on 13-year-old Emilka, a Czech girl destined for "re-education"; through her eyes, we then see the imposed family, the complex formation of relationships with a man who tries to treat her kindly. The little girl goes through a painful discovery of true reality. During her stay in Germany, she tries not to forget her real home and believes that she will meet her mother once more in her life and return.
- A truck driver Charvát returned from prison six months ago. His colleagues know his past, but in front of his landlady and her 10-year-old son, Charvát comes across as a man of integrity and reliability. One weekend night, the man gives a lift to two female students who missed the last train. Unable to control his repressed desires, he rapes one of the girls and murders them both in a remote location. Their bodies are disposed of in a large dump. But the corpses are discovered the next day by an old forester, and the search is on.
- The villagers are planning a traditional feast on St. Martin's Day and the whole village is looking forward to it. But the band they had booked for the feast promises to play at a wedding on the same day instead. How to resolve such an unpleasant situation?
- A married couple lives very modestly. The miserly wife precisely divides the money for necessary expenses into cans intended for this purpose and counts her husband's cigarettes as well. And then the couple receive a letter from a supposed great-uncle they have never heard of. He promises them that they will inherit thirty thousand dollars upon his death. The couple subscribes to the local newspaper to get the news of their uncle's death, as it would be tactless to contact the uncle directly. And they begin to do the math. The enterprising wife knows exactly where to invest the money and how they will multiply it. And the years pass with imaginary investments.

- One important day in the adolescence of two boys. Longtime friends and recent high school graduates, they are heading to the capital to attend college. But their new home seems much colder than they imagined. Each deals with this fact in his own way.
- A young man comes into the matchmaking agency. The owner, Mr. Stastny, may break himself with willingness, but no potential bride is good enough for a young man. Eventually it is discovered, and this is a blow to Mr. Stastny, that Mr. Kalous has come to propose to his daughter Emilka. The unwanted groom is first thrown out by Mr. Stastny after a sharp exchange. But he returns and the clever matchmaker tries another method.
- In the main race on Sunday afternoon, Titan and his rider Pecenka will win in Chuchle, while jockey Sochor is last as usual. Trainer reproaches Sochor the next day that he can't live off his old glory. Sochor is convinced that he lacks a good horse to be in the lead again.
- The romantic story of a young nobleman who sees a beautiful girl at a carnival who seems familiar. He thinks he has seen her in an old castle where the villagers believe only the old countess and her sister live. It is in their salon in town that he meets the girl again and learns her history.
- Chief engineer Jirí Gregor lives with his wife Marie in the coal mining region. Their frequent guest is Ing. Petr Lukás, Jirí's friend. One day, however, Petr takes advantage of Gregor's absence and confesses his love to Marie. When he tries to embrace her, Jirí appears.
- Mrs. Bernada Alba is a proud and tough woman who carefully guards the reputation of her house. In fact, it's the only thing that matters to her. After the death of her husband, she closes the house like a fortress. For eight years she is to keep mourning and no man is allowed in. Bernarda has five daughters, the eldest is 39, the youngest 20. Mostly aged virgins who didn't marry because no groom was suitable. The girls are not rich, except for the eldest Augustias from Alba's first marriage, none has a larger dowry, and it is money that causes young Pepe, the handsomest boy in the village, to start courting Augustias, but the youngest, Adela, loves him. Everything comes to a tragic end.
- Two brothers live with their mother in an old house on the outskirts of small town. They both work in a print shop. The older one, Boza, is a quiet, responsible man with views determined by his Christian faith. Dan is a dude who enjoys pub entertainment. It is only after a tragic event that he begins to understand that something is missing in his life.
- At the Silverville Retirement Home, where natural death is a frequent, if unwelcome, guest, one morning a resident is found seriously injured. The director, who sweeps inconveniences and shortcuts in the functioning of the private facility under the carpet, does the same this time and conceals the incident from the police. However, the investigation starts unofficially and covertly: it is taken up by a former judge who is eager to track down the perpetrator on his own.
- Míla Horský, a man of mature age, for whom establishing and then developing contact with a lady is an easy task, which he handles with the insight of a professional, is an expert advisor in matters of dating and a true connoisseur of women's souls. He wants to pass on his experience in this field to a shy young man he meets in a cafe. However, he has no idea who the object of his interest is.
- Renata is the happy mother of a seven-year-old daughter and she and her partner, journalist Ivan, live in a First Republic wooden cabin on the bank of a flooded quarry. The place is idyllic, but the relationship between Renata and Ivan is more complicated. Ivan is now a forgotten curmudgeon, while Renata, who has become a director, is at the height of her powers. She meets a new and fierce love and must painfully decide this unexpected problem.
- Mirek is an ordinary fifteen-year-old boy whose biggest hobby is animals. He has just finished the ninth grade and is deciding where to go next. His parents want him to study chemistry, but he doesn't want to, he wants to go to veterinary school. He even tears up the application form. But his parents are adamant.
- Little kids, little worries, big kids, big worries, sighs many a parent often. This is no different for the mother of eighteen-year-old Frantisek, who has just graduated from high school without much glory and is about to start his first job. Fandy is still full of boyish dreams, yearns for a career as a rowing representative, competes with a friend for the favor of an admiring girl and is generally stubbornly opposed to taking life seriously.
- The family is getting ready for Christmas Eve when Uncle Karel arrives with presents and a live rabbit. Wife Marta would like to roast the rabbit for lunch on St. Stephen's Day, but husband Rudolf is unable to kill it. He also refuses to kill the carp for his widowed neighbor, Mr. Korejs. Their four little girls want to keep the rabbit alive and name it Frantík. Suddenly his wife has to be taken to the maternity hospital, so a neighbor drives her and the husband has to prepare Christmas dinner.
- The central character of the film is a young woman who, out of a desire for a better life, marries into the farm. Later, however, she searches for a way to free herself from the captivity of her property. Farm has marked both Floris and his father with his hatred of people. This is why they plot against the cooperative, why they hate each other, and why Floris eventually murders his father. In his frenzied hatred, he does not hesitate to put even Frona's life in danger.
- One evening, two fairies - Worry and Fortune with their young assistant Mina - are walking through old Prague. As it is Fortune's birthday, she decides to give people a gift - she enchants quite ordinary slippers to fulfill the wearer's every wish. The slippers then change hands that evening and everything they have ever dreamed of suddenly becomes a reality. But what people wish for is often very tricky, and it may not always bring one the desired happiness. Rather, it happens to be misery. Even Fortune becomes convinced of this when she realizes that happiness is something everyone must earn for themselves.
- Alice reports to the police that she has been raped. However, her statement first arouses distrust among the police and then the doctors. Investigator Petra takes up her case and, as part of her investigation, begins to uncover disturbing facts and suspects that spiritual guru Marek, whom Alice accuses of rape, has committed sexual violence against dozens of women with the help of his female co-worker Klára in the context of a would-be therapeutic yoga class. He must be stopped, prosecuted and brought to justice as quickly as possible. In addition to the investigation process itself, the story also reveals Alice's private life, her long-term unfavorable living situation and her constant struggle for her young daughter Emma with her ex-partner Radek. It becomes clear that Alice's past behavior in the relationship was not ideal, which further undermines the trust of those around her in Alice's version of what should have happened to her and the other women.
- A comedy about two women and two marriages. A young woman lives in a Harlem apartment with a fire escape and is beaten by her husband. But she is happy because she always gets a present from him afterwards. Her neighbor is jealous because her husband is a cad and won't speak a word, let alone show her his feelings in this way. She therefore makes a scene to him, but it has quite different effects than she expected.

- The tailor Florian Kerzl is immersed in the Middle Ages. When he spoils the celebrations for the 500th anniversary of the founding of the town of Zdislavice, he is banished from the town. So he moves in his armor to the nearby ruins of a medieval castle. Where Florian has several interesting adventures and even falls in love with the film extra Hanni. Eventually he finds a treasure in the cellars of the old castle, containing the will of the former castle lord.
