On April 30 2014 The Independence of Romania (1912) was screened at the Royal Belgian Cinematheque in Brussels, Belgium. The silent film was presented by the Romanian film historian Bujor T. Rîpeanu and accompanied live by jazz pianist Ramona Horvath.
