  • When Big Jim and Black Larson struggle for a shotgun, the Tramp tries to stay out of their way, but the gun somehow is always pointed at him no matter where he is and threatens to go off.
  • Afterward, Big Jim starts hallucinating from hunger and chases the Tramp, thinking he's a giant chicken and wants to eat him.
  • Two men almost get into a fist fight.
  • In the character's second trip to the cabin, the building is moved by strong winds until it is precariously balanced on a cliff edge. The occupants are not initially aware of this and are puzzled at why the cabin is leaning depending on their positioning. Once they realize the danger, they barely manage to escape before it topples over.
