Sometimes the bird and the worm cast shadows on the ground and other times they do not.
When the bird is shown taking a shower with a salt shaker filled with water, the water level keeps going down as the water comes out of the holes. Yet the angle of the water shows water coming out of some holes at the top of the salt shaker even though the water level is too low. Also, the pattern of the water coming out is wrong. Water should barely trickle out of the holes at the top, while it should come out stronger from the bottom holes, not in the pattern shown. This is due to the weight/mass of the water driving the flow out of the holes. There is more weight pushing down on the water at the bottom than at the top, so the water should come out more forcefully at the bottom than the top.
While the entire premise is that it's early in the day (i.e., the early bird is trying to catch the worm on his way to school), the shadows of the characters indicate it is midday.
