An intertitle states that the delegates moved to St John's Church in Richmond, but in the following scene, when the delegates are shown leaving the church, the sign on the door reads "St. Paul's Church".
In the beginning when a group is playing Blindman's Bluff, Doxy is blindfolded and she is nearing a man who is crouching under the stairway. There is an incongruous cut between her first touching him with a left-handed backhand on his left shoulder, and then capturing him with her left hand grasping his right arm.
The guests at General Washington's house are shown dancing to Ludwig van Beethoven's "Minuet in G", which was not composed until 1796. In fact, Beethoven was born in 1770; i.e., five years before the events shown at the beginning of the film.
