I could not believe my eyes that this early pro war pro military classic film of 1936 included Hollywood style productions, which included the forbidden fruit as back ground music jazz. It was illegal back then. The scene that you see Willy Birgel and Irene Von Meyendorff at the hotel night club celebrating with champagne and the jazz band and people dancing. Sounds like a holly wood production right ? Wrong. Whats sitting next to them is her fiancé,or the in German term bodiguard. or does that mean husband? She works there as a counter sales girl in the hotel lobby. Well her fiancé, played by Heinz Wezel, is a private Nazi soldier with the 1936 uniform. Hitler had not declared war against the world yet but he was planning it.You see a lot of Nazi uniforms here. A lot of Nazi plane and Nazi tanks.This is where the Hollywood production ends. A scientist, Dr Auer,played by Theodor loose has invented a way of creating gas out of Oil. So the third Reich had it's military experiment with this gas. Spies Willy Birgel and Paul Dauhlke , they had team together in comrades, with a third spy, Herbert AE Bohme, plays agent Shultz.Who are anti Nazi spies weak as always in the third Reich.They are going to find out the secret formula and steal it.They send agent Shultz to the area where the tanks and military are experimenting in it. Willy has already dupe one couple, Irene Meyendorf and Hans Wendel. She works at the hotel lobby and has got to know her to get to her Fiancé? to black mail him for Nazi Secrets.Manger promoting the project. Fritz Brocau, played by Rudolph Fernau, has a spoiled girl friend,Marion,played by Goebbels girl friend Lida Baroova.She has him up in dept dancing every night and buying her a lot of jewelry. He jumps at her about this.The Nazi secret agents know about this spy ring and want to smash it in which Volker Von Kolande taps on the telephones at the spies to smash them when they feel it's right.Well Shultz spies on all the military machinery and how the gas is applied . He flies one of the plane.Well both Dahlke and Willy manage to black mail Brocua to sell the formula for the sake of his selfish girl friend. Willy once again gets together with Irene and Han's at an outdoor dancing café. It turns back into a Hollywood production with people dancing to a jazz band. They all three have their picture took after being convinced by Birgel. Well Dahlke and Birgel manged to dupe Hans into their hotel room and black mail him too with the photos of three of them.But he won't put up with it he goes to his commander and confesses . Through this the Nazi gestapo finds out more clearly about this ring.They go after them. They surprised attack Birgel at his hotel room. They shoot down Brocau from selling the formula, He stays alive enough to tell who black mailed him. The gestapo chases Dahlke into the field quick sand get's him. Although this was against us in spite of that it's very entertaining . This will of course offend pseudo liberals . so they need not to look at this .Available at War films dot com and Reichs kino.A good print
