musical comedy of mistaken identities
horn-527 December 2006
Anny Ondra is a wealthy young business woman, but takes a job as a model in a dressmaking house in an effort to meet some man who will love her for herself, and not because she has a lot of money.

Hans Soehnker, son of a wealthy manufacturer, argues with his father, and under an assumed name, gets a job in the same establishment. The two meet, fall in love and, before they get married with the blessings of their respective families, there is a great deal of comedy.

Hans serenades Anny on several occasions. Trude Hesterberg plays Anny's socially-inclined aunt, and Erika von Thellman is the owner of the dressmaking house.
