interesting Nazi comedy

Warning: Spoilers
This movie was released in the unites states in 1939,probably not in a mainstream theater, but one of those specialty theaters for German Americans as well as the Bund, the American Nazi's.Even though you had foreign stars like Marika Rokk and Zarah Leander dominating the business.I just found out that Jenny Jugo was not a German neither,so that changes things. This is a comedy that comes close to the American Dulci comedies that starred Marion Davies and Ann Southern.Jenny portrays a spoiled rich girl ,who is engaged to a boring man ,portrayed Axel Ambesser as well as the father being played by German stalwart character actor Leo Peukert. She ends up in an accident ,reckless driving , that she get inspired to go to college and learned the medical profession .There she meet student ,the handsome Hannes Stelzer, and fall for him slowly .She realizes that she can't depend on her Pa pa and the has has to make something for her self .Then there the professor that encouraged her played by Carl Ludwig Diehl. You don't need a translator to under stand this comedy Then you have Heinz Salfner and the butler and gay actor Theodor Danegger, whose career stopped during the rest of the war, when he was found out. For fans of bad film history this is worth a look 03/23/15
