Sex & Nudity

  • A kiss. A woman lifts her skirt up to reveal some of her leg to a man.

Violence & Gore

  • During the earthquake sequence, many buildings collapse and bury screaming people. On top of that, the dam bursts and lets forth a deluges that kills many more people and destroys many more structures. This scene is more intense than the usaul 1930's/1940's violence.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A man has a drinking problem and there is depiction of smoking throughout.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The monsoon/earthquake scene is definitely more dramatic than most 1930's /1940's movies. Children may be unnerved (see Violence & Gore).
