Alfalfa's younger twin brothers, Tisket and Tasket are first seen in Bubbling Troubles (1940). In that short and here, they sport cowlicks like Alfalfa's, obviously a genetic trait! The twins look younger in this short (released 23 November 1940) than in Bubbling Troubles (1940) (released 25 May 1940).
When hypochondriac Mr Morton insists that the doctor give him stronger pills, he writes a prescription (seen close-up onscreen) for Saccharum Lactis 20gm - sugar of milk - (and another item with the word "menthol" in it). In other words, he gives the old man a placebo, which the doctor reveals at the very end as "sugar of milk and a little flavoring".
