If you had any worries at all that Marvel's assorted Netflix series were losing their way a little bit, the first four episodes of The Defenders should put those fears to rest. Spider-Man: Homecoming, directed by Jon Watts, is Marvel's highly-anticipated take on the famous web slinger. We're still a ways off from release, but the actors are already being pressed for details. Zendaya is the most recent. She has a lot to say about her character but is still keeping tight-lipped on the most contentious aspect. Just this week Kevin Feige confirmed the previously cast Michael Keaton was indeed playing the villain Vulture. Tom Holland recently revealed he's signed on for three Spider-Man solo movies and three appearances in other McU films (one of each is already done). But we don't know about their plans for Zendaya. When first cast in the Marvel/Sony Pictures team-up, they were calling her character "Michelle," which absolutely seemed like a code name. A few months later, reports started surfacing that she was going to be playing the famous Mary Jane Watson, aka Mj. The...

Here's a recap of his Q&A, which also includes reflections on favorite moments from his career, not being able to say anything about The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere episode, and much more:
Greg Nicotero talked about the connection horror fans have to iconic locations from their favorite movie or show:
"It's one thing to see it on the screen, but being a fan, I've gone to Martha's Vineyard to see where they shot Jaws, and I've stood at the bottom of the steps in Georgetown where Father Merrin [stood in The Exorcist]. There's something about this genre that solicits that kind of connection.

Oh, Japril fans. How are you feeling after "Grey's Anatomy" put your hearts through the wringer? In last night's Season 12, Episode 11, "Unbreak My Heart," Jackson (Jesse Williams) presented April (Sarah Drew) with divorce papers and, after a walk down memory lane, she signed. And then April revealed, at least to us, that she's pregnant. So do we cheer, cry, both?
Sarah Drew gave some interviews about April's big reveal, and it sounds like there's definitely hope for Japril fans, even if the actress herself was thrown by this new baby twist.
TV Guide asked Sarah for her reaction to April's pregnancy news. "I was completely shocked when I read that in the script," Sarah said. "I was like, oh my gosh. But I loved it. It was this beacon of hope that we could cling onto. So, I love it. I had no idea it was coming, and I'm so glad that it did.

ABC's "Agent Carter" returned for a second season this week and executive producers Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters have spoken about the two-part premiere's shocking ending which ties into Marvel's upcoming "Doctor Strange" movie.
Spoilers Ahead
The premiere's ending saw the handsome and charming scientist Jason Wilkes (Reggie Austin), a potential love interest for Peggy, go M.I.A. following an explosion involving zero matter (the 'Dark Force' from the "Doctor Strange" universe).
Showrunners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters have spoken with THR about incorporating the 'Strange' mythology into this season. Fazekas says:
"We knew that we had wanted to get into a little bit more of the Marvel universe as far as having superpowers. The cool thing about darkforce when you look into it is, in the comic book universe, it's this very versatile thing. It can be a gas, a solid, a liquid. It gives people superpowers, it makes people villains.

All eyes have been on Love Island's Naomi Ball as she appeared to flirt with the other boys after sharing a kiss with Joshua Ritchie.

Ooh, we love a good reality show. And we're in luck - because while Towie and Made in Chelsea aren't back in our lives yet, we've got a brand new obsession. And then gelling that with being in New York, it feels like shows like Sex and the City and Gossip Girl. So putting the two together will hopefully be a winner." Could that sound more up our street?

The Originals started as a show about three siblings, a thousand years of family history, and Klaus' desire to regain control of New Orleans. But in season two, there are more Originals than ever, and Klaus is less about the city and more about revenge. "This is about trying to clean up [season one's] mess and the hope that they can create an environment where they can bring their child home," executive producer Julie Plec said. "Only what they do not yet realize in the beginning is that the new mess is in the form of their old family." Quickly, Klaus' revenge...

Cannes - While the Cannes Film Festival is known for its celebrity-filled red carpets and the prestigious Palme d'Or, it's also a major film market for distributors around the world. For over 50 years international production companies have hawked completed films or movies they are trying to secure financing for to theater owners from the far corners of the globe. For good reasons and bad, the Cannes Film Market is also notorious for its sometimes hilarious promo posters for films that may never see the light of day in the United States. Ever wonder how some of your favorite B- and C-list Hollywood actors pay their mortgages? The Cannes Film Market tells us. Ever wonder what the latest kids films from Taiwan are? (Seriously, you must ponder this at least once a year, right?) Oh, the Cannes Film Market will tell us. And, more importantly, have you ever wondered who is...

In a world filled to the brim with sci-fi shows about vampires, werewolves and witches, it can be hard for a new show about a pack of werewolves to stand out. But Syfy's new series "Bitten" has one important factor that makes it necessary viewing in today's TV landscape: The main werewolf character at the center of the story is female.
Meet Elena Michaels (Laura Vandervoort), an independent, strong, smart, human woman who fell in love with her hunky college professor Clayton Danvers (Greyston Holt), unknowingly thrusting herself into the world of lycanthropes. Five episodes in, we finally learned how Elena became a werewolf herself: Clay bit her (for reasons both we and Elena still don't know or understand), thus ending their relationship but beginning her new life as the only female werewolf in the world.

The main villain of "The Following" has always been Joe Carroll (James Purefoy), but Season 2 introduced a duo even more frightening than the serial killer/cult leader -- identical "psychotic twins" Luke and Mark, both impressively played by Sam Underwood.
When Underwood auditioned for "The Following," he didn't know he was actually auditioning for two completely different characters, though he did have an idea how juicy the role would be.
"I could tell from the audition material that I had that they were developing a very interesting and complex character," Underwood tells Zap2it. "I had no idea of the scale of where the character was going to go. But I could tell from the get go that it would be a really fascinating individual that they were developing."

According to Adelaide Kane, some major stuff is going to go down in the fall finale of "Reign" on Thursday (Dec. 12). "Oh, you have no idea," she tells Zap2it of "Fated." "There's going to be death, despair, manipulation as per us, a little but of romance. There might be a little bit of sexy times, but whose sexy times it is remains to be seen. It's a really intense episode. A lot happens."
Yep, just another day in the royal court. Here's what else Kane had to say about the episode, which will see Nostradamus telling Mary of his prophecy, changing her relationship with Francis, and more developments with the Bash, Diane, and Catherine situation.
Zap2it: What's happening between Mary and Francis?

"The Good Wife" just hit its milestone 100th episode in what may be the best episode the show has ever done, including the final frames with Eli's spit-take and Marilyn's "bombshell." But some things I've been reading have given me pause.
Marilyn's reveal that she's having a boy and is going to name it "Peter" had all the earmarks that Marilyn is messing with Eli. That she's playing a joke on him because she's obviously a smart and savvy woman who knew exactly why they "promoted" her to the Transit Authority and thought she'd give Eli a mini-stroke -- Merry Christmas! (Or, Happy Hanukkah! -- Holiday decorations, not Christmas.)
However, in an interview with Vulture, creator Robert King says, "She's not kidding. The only thing we'd say is we pick up the next episode right where we left off. Literally a second later. You'll find out about that immediately."

Adam: As we previously teased, the getaway won't be all romance. You could barely wipe the smile off Paul Wesley's face when he was playing The Ripper version of Stefan in 2011, so you can imagine how elated he was when I hit up The Vampire Diaries set as he was bringing to life another pseudo-Stefan, Silas. Any actor who dares accept a role designed to drive a wedge between a fan favorite couple should be prepared for the inevitable online backlash. Something Ryan Guzman learned the hard way by joining Pretty Little Liars as Jake, a post-Ezra shoulder for Aria to lean on. The fact that Guzman turned a majority of Jake's haters into swooning fans over the past eight weeks speaks volumes about the heart (and abdominal muscles) he brings to the role.
Tonight's episode, titled The Mirror Has Three Faces, is poised to reveal even more of that heart I was just talking about as Aria learns a lot about her new boy. I caught up with the 25-year-old to talk about digging beneath Jake's surface, the enduring pull Ezra has on Aria and what you can expect from his character next season. Billy Crystal has hosted nine Academy Awards ceremonies and starred in box office hits like "When Harry Met Sally," "City Slickers" and "Analyze This," but even that resume wasn't enough to earn the 65-year-old respect from his grandchildren.
In a recent interview at the Pixar headquarters in Emeryville, Calif. to promote the upcoming "Monsters University," Crystal told a group of reporters what cool customers his four grandchildren are. They didn't know that their grandpa had any kind of special status until a paparazzo was following the actor and kids around The Grove, an upscale outdoor mall in L.A., taking pictures, prompting the kids to ask what the fuss was about.
Their nonplussed attitude toward Crystal shouldn't be a total surprise, of course; as the actor said, it's not like his biggest live-action movies are suitable for younger audiences. "I couldn't show them 'When Harry Met Sally,'" he said,...

"Archer" returns to FX tonight and the first four episodes are, well, classic "Archer."
The season premiere, "Fugue and Riffs," premieres at 10 p.m. We took an advance look at the premiere and the next three episodes -- "The Wind Cries Mary," "Legs" and "Midnight Ron" -- to give you 10 teasers of what's to come. (In case you're not caught up, Season 3 of "Archer" is available on DVD right now -- it's worth checking out for a few storylines that come back in the new episodes.)
If you're worried about spoilers, stop reading now, but we tried not to spoil the fun.
1) You won't wait long for the "Bob's Burgers" crossover
Season 4 opens with the much-anticipated "Bob's Burgers" crossover, as Archer has a Jason Bourne-style case of amnesia and believes he's Bob Belcher from the Fox animated comedy. In case you're not aware of the connection: H. Jon Benjamin voices both Archer and Bob.
