- This series entry starts in Croatan, North Carolina. Ferry operator 'Tom Haywood' has set up a self-kicking machine, which has four boots attached to spokes on a hub. It can be used to kick oneself for any reason. In Madison, John Cz (yes, that last name is real) grows pumpkins. When they are still small, he puts them in metal forms so the pumpkins grow into the shape of a number of a available faces. The skull is most popular during Halloween. Broolkyn artist Vincent Bongiorno uses a microscope to make postage-stamp-size reproductions of famous paintings. In Taxco, Mexico, Teresa Lujan de Rosales uses the shell linings from chicken eggs to make beautiful flower arrangements.
