This movie was released after the war in the United states, probably in art house. Viennese character actress Annie Rosar is in this film as Paul Horbiger house servant,but, i.m.d.b. and Wikipedia ,German, forgot to print that .In every Moser Horbiger vehicle they always end up chumming ,after a couple of drinks and start singing a Viennese song.For the first time I hear Hans Moser full singing voice .It wasn't bad.Most of his film he just pitching.Well half of the cast that was in a rose in Tirol appear in this film Hans Holt and Moser.In this case Moser plays an owner of a dance studio that teaches the children ,of Viennese upper middle class how to dance .Paul Horginer open up a more elaborate Dance school to compete against Moser .Both of them were one time friend ,but fell in love with the same girl,Paul ends up marrying her.Years later Sylvia, played by Elfie Meyerhofer, who's Paul Horbiger's daughter of that of that wife ,has been dead for years, takes class at more simple smaller budget Moser's place ,in secret,cause her grades are low and Paul won't allow her to learn how to dance in the studio.It's when Elfie sneaks behind Paul to go to a dance lesson at Moser's . That she accidentally meets Hans Holt,Being force to get engaged to a women he does not love,that he pretends to be A Valet to himself to get to know Sylvia.When one night both Nat and Sylvia are lock up in Moser's dance studio ,that Hans an Paul come in drunk with friends ,after attending the ball of Paul, that Moser finds both young people together.Hans Accuses Paul of setting this up to give a bad reputation to his dance place,while Paul is angry that Elfie took dance lesson rather than studying.Elfie noted for her singing voice ,sings less and acts and dances more in this,with A Viennese song,"I Carry in my heart a little piece of Vienna ,"that Paul and Mose Sings together in a chummy way. Well Mose save the day in realizing Elfie's love with Holt.In the end both friends open up a new dance studio .Old Viennese style German classic to help the Austrian forget that Hitler now controlled their country,for those who were against that.05/25/14
