- Oliver Budge is after the Rawlins ranch. His henchman Sanders kills Ken Rawlins but when he tries to kill Leslie Rawlins, Rocky Lane breaks it up. - In a scheme to gain control of the Rawlins Ranch, Oliver Budge (Gene Roth) has his rustlers kill Matt Rawlins but they miss his son Ken (Jay Kirby) who sends for his friend "Rocky" Lane (Allan Lane)but Ken is also killed before "Rocky" arrives. The gang also stops a stagecoach carrying another heir, Leslie Rawlins (Mildred Coles),but they think Leslie is a man and assault a passenger named Wilkins (House Peters Jr.). In order to keep Leslie safe, "Rocky" assumes the name and has her pose as the ranch housekeeper. In these identities they go to the ranch where Nugget Clark (Eddy Waller), a loyal but bungling and talkative cowhand, readily accepts "Rocky" as Leslie Rawlins, heir to the ranch. Then "Rocky" sets out to expose the culprits. The only B-western on record in which four characters pose as four other characters.—Les Adams <longhorn1939@suddenlink.net>
