- This Tarzan film is much more macabre than others. Early in the film, Cheetah the chimp finds the wreckage of a downed airplane with the skeletons of those who flew in it. They are in seated positions as if they were still inside the plane. One of the skeletons is shown in closeup.
- Later on, part of the skeleton of the man who was killed by a flaming arrow is shown.
