The first half hour promises one of those pleasant, "Agatha Christie like" detective stories, but with the investigation on its way the story gets more and more out of control, leaving a lot of loose ends when the case is finally solved. Director Kurt Hoffmann and fine cast are willing, but the subject is just too weak.
