Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- Other animals are occasionally seen drinking and getting drunk as well.
- Jones gets drunk. One of the commandments is "Animals will not drink alcohol" which the pigs break.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
-
- A dead dog is seen early in the film and a dead cat at midpoint. Other animals are seen dead after battle scenes but the dead pets could be especially upsetting.
- Farmer Jones constantly abuses the farm animals.
- The overall content of the movie, especially in the second part, is extreamly bleak and sometimes shocking. However, the film is softened a bit by the oppressed animals, at the end of their patience at Napoleon's tyranny, taking their chances for something better by rising up and violently overthrowing the pigs.
