Simple, relaxing and nostalgic comedy that probably struck a cord with elderly audiences. Bias against "progress" is evident: young, modern thinking people are certainly not to be trusted!
But it has great Hans Moser (78 years old in this film), so who am I to even mutter the slightest complaint about this film? Is he not enough reason to watch and just enjoy? Of course there is Paul Hörbiger too, with Oskar Sima and Lucie Englisch and they are all fine, what can not be said of all the "young" members of the cast.
And of course we are in too much hurry. So it is a Fiaker for my next trip to the cinema. Servuß.
