SMALL-MINDED AND SLOW MOVING
J. Steed11 May 1999
Every corny joke about marriage and every trivial marital problem (shirts not ironed, husband does not bring flowers, mother-in-law: you name it, it's here) can be found in this small-minded, slow moving and too theatrical comedy, in which duo Wolfgang Neuss and Wolfgang Müller are the main disappointment: their breaking-in act just goes on and on without any comic surprises. It is (again) hilarious Rudolf Platte who, in a few scenes, saves the viewer from complete boredom.
