The film popularized the then slang word "dragueur" in French (meaning a flirt, or a skirt chaser) which is since referenced in the dictionary and commonly used.
The film was released with two different titles in the United States. It premiered in New York in 1960 under the title "The Chasers". However three years later it was released in Los Angeles with the title "The Girl Chasers".
