A spinster (Liselotte PULVER) from the south of England travels to the south of France to research the family roots of her parents, who died young. The Search for any relatives is a little difficult, but she is warmly welcomed into the pension of a very likeable widower (Robert GRAF) who has a son (Oliver GRIMM) of primary school age.

Dominik GRAF, on the other hand, is the partner of ACADEMY AWARD winner Caroline LINK, who received the trophy for "Nowhere in Africa / Nirgendwo in Afrika" (2003) and was already nominated for "Beyond Silence / Jenseits der Stille" (1998). Oh yes, and Liselotte PULVER (GOLDEN GLOBE nominee 1964 (A Global Affair)) in the leading role is a safe bet in every film.
