Throughout "Probability Zero," whenever Duke is shown in uniform, his Infantry emblem (the crossed rifles collar device) amusingly is worn vertically. Among US forces, such military branch insignia are worn horizontally.
When the Germans find the man Duke shot in the water, they claim the bullet removed from him was from a Garand, the standard US rifle of WW2. But Duke is clearly shown shooting with a bolt action rifle, not a semi-automatic M1.
Though the war ended in 1945, ribbon bar on protagonist Duke's uniform represents three medals all created in the 1950s: the National Defense Medal (1953), United Nations Korea Medal (1950), and Korean Service Medal (1950).
Although nominally set in Norway, there is a total lack of trees around the inlet, showing that the film location is somewhere else.
