Evers is best remembered as the "mad scientist" from The Brain That Wouldn't Die whose fiancee is decapitated in a car wreck, after which Evers manages to keep her head alive in what looks like a dish-pan while he searches bars and strip joints for a suitably sexy body onto which to transplant her noggin.
