Joanna Gaines is getting a jump start on the weekend.
The star of Hgtv’s Fixer Upper took to Instagram to show off a beautiful breakfast spread fixed up by her costar husband Chip and their daughters Ella, 9, and Emmie, 6. “What a pretty surprise!,” she captioned the photo of fluffy pancakes, scrambled eggs, coffee, pastel pink flowers and a sweet handwritten note from her younger daughter. “Breakfast in bed from @chippergaines and the girls ❤️,” she added.

Grimm has what feels like a final silly hurrah before things take a much darker turn for the end of the series...

6.7 Blind Love
Grimm took a turn for the absurd this week in an episode that was for the most part silly, whimsical and played to the cast’s comedic talents. The one-off episode – which in no way adds to this final season’s narrative – feels like the ensemble just really wanted to serve up a slice of fun before the series finale next month.
It feels like that the writers are paying tribute to the cast’s time on the show, with flashbacks to Nick and Monroe’s first meeting (Truble clearly stole Nick’s look from season one) and Rosalee and Monroe’s first kiss. There’s a sentimental...

A big screen adaptation of the Bioshock videogame series came painfully close to happening. Director Gore Verbinski was attached, and was close to physical production started, when Universal Pictures ultimately pulled the plug.

1.2 Chapter Two
Memory can be comforting, but it’s not to be trusted. Though our memories form the basis of our personalities and how we interact with the people and world around us, we cannot help but distort and dramatise, to let others twist and shape our perceptions, and block out any recollection that disagrees with the narrative we’re constructing in our heads. The average person’s memory is just an approximation of the truth, so a person like Legion’s David Haller is likely to find even less fact wading through the recesses of his mind.

We’re almost halfway through the final season and many fans might be starting to feel a little perplexed. Despite having only seven episodes left in which to wrap up the entire series – and deliver a finale that is worthy of its own mythological status – right now Grimm is still seemingly content to amble along at a leisurely pace, designating all the interesting plot points to the background while it focuses yet again on a standard Wesen-of-the-week storyline.

And this season started out so well. It's so immensely frustrating to have such rich potential squandered so badly, as in Grimm Season 6 Episode 6.
Unfortunately, this episode was really quite disappointing on a number of levels that I was literally left wondering what in the world I was just watching. Oi.
I will refrain from complaining any more about squandering what little time is left on Grimm's clock with another Monster-of-the-Week story and instead spend my time on the episode itself.
Perhaps the writers were going for some sort of tragic monster with the Alpe, in the same vein as the Spinnetod from Grimm Season 1 Episode 11, which had to feed on people to survive.
Unfortunately, this fell utterly flat. For one thing, the Alpe was described as feeding on melatonin, a sleep-regulating hormone... which is easily available over the counter in the United States!

Keanu Reeves, as much as any actor of his generation, has left a legacy to be proud of. We take a look back at his career.
Much like his character in the John Wick films, Keanu Reeves is a man with very little to lose.

Often maligned for his lack of range as an actor, or dismissed as merely a vaguely goofy action star, every misstep that Reeves has taken throughout his career has come from an enviable ability to consistently take risks. Despite every effort to pigeonhole him, Keanu Reeves just won’t be told what he can and can’t do.

It's probably fair to say that there is a significant portion of the fan base that finds Wesen-of-the-Week stories... well, boring. Especially when thrown up against exciting and dramatic long-term arcs.
Alas, Grimm Season 6 Episode 5 does little to discourage the sentiment.
With the series rapidly drawing to a close, is it really the best use of time to have our beloved Team Grimm go after Cicada Guy?
It was way, way more entertaining to watch as Meisner the Ghost mess with Renard in increasingly blatant ways.
Death certainly gave him an upgrade in the sense of humor department, though it seemed to be getting nastier by the moment.
Meisner: I like your new place, Sean! But I’m not following you. I’m *haunting* you. There *is* a difference.
Renard: Well, it’s annoying in either case!

The northeastern United States may be freezing, but Neil Patrick Harris' twins' latest deed will warm your heart. The family is currently staying in New York City. "Breakfast in bed, made by these two beauties!" Harris wrote on Instagram Saturday morning, alongside a photo of their meal and the children embracing. "Snow is falling outside, David smiling beside me," the actor added. "Wow, what a wonderful way...

Are you tired of the cracker jack, straight laced heroes getting all the spotlight now that Breaking Bad, Dexter, and Hannibal have all been concluded or cancelled? Then, Vertoscope might be the comic for you. Co-edited by comics artists Nechama Frier (Smut Peddler, Red Rabbit) and Ten Van Winkle, Vertoscope is a 200 page graphic novel anthology featuring sixteen black and white shorts spanning a variety of genres focusing on villains. It’s like the early 2000s Mickey’s House of Villains cartoon, but much more nuanced and featuring the catchy tagline “A villainous collection by many devious minds.”
This is a personal project for Frier and Van Winkle, and in the official press release they say that Vertoscope “is brought to you by creators who have sat through dozens of movies, books, and comics falling in love with the despicable characters. We don’t hate the hero or happy ending,...

It's the best of times, it's the worst of times. Scott Foley and wife Marika Dominczyk welcomed their third child, a baby boy, back in November — and life hasn't been the same since. Us Weekly caught up with the Scandal star earlier this month at Charisma's Breakfast in Bed event, where he dished all about the scary but great new development in his home. "It's terrifying," he admitted. "It should scare the hell out of you. But it's amazing. There's nothing else I can think of [...]...

If you're not a fan of the family drama than go marathon it immediately on Netflix and join the club. Off-screen Potter is mom to three her kids, Molly, Daniel and Liam. She's also something of a lifestyle and crafts expert—often blogging about family traditions, projects, cooking and gardening on her website. Because of this we thought she probably have some great last-minute Mother's Day gift ideas. Turns out she had five: 1. B&B: "Breakfast in bed because mom is always getting up at the crack of dawn to take care of breakfast and lunches for...
