    Robbo : I still can't figure you and Big Jim out of the same stable.

    Marian : If I'm not his daughter, who am I?

    Robbo : Probably some society dame with the hots for tough guys.

  • Robbo : All I want to say is Big Jim has gone to meet the big G. Big Jim was an inspiration to me. Once when I was a kid, he caught me stealing hubcaps off his Packard. He said to me, "Kid, don't steal the hubcaps. Steal the whole car."

  • Robbo : Since he's organized, he's got 85 guns, plus the Sheriff. We're an even dozen - if you want to include a hooker who used to be a knife thrower at a carnival. If you like the long shots, you want to jump in?

    Little John : I'm in.

  • Six Seconds : Big Jim never had no relatives, only a brudda.

    Robbo : Yeah? That dame ain't nobody's brudda.

  • Robbo : As long as I hate your guts, I know I got good taste.

  • Guy Gisborne : Maybe you ain't gonna be around that long. And that ain't a bet, that's a promise.

    Robbo : You never kept a promise in your life, you bum.

  • Robbo : A classy-lookin' dame like you shouldn't be makin' statements like that.

  • Robbo : I liked your father. The cemetery's full of guys I liked! And I ain't ready to join that club, yet!

  • Robbo : I run a gambling joint. I hustle beer. My only aim in life it to make people happy

  • Robbo : You ain't dead, pal. You just put on high heels and a skirt.

  • Robbo : Now, wait a minute. Wait a minute. I didn't mean to holler on you. I'm just worried. I don't want to see you get your pretty face pushed in. You know what I mean?

  • Marian : Why did you accept my invitation for dinner tonight?

    Robbo : Yeah, that's what my boys would like to know. You see, they're a little worried that you might be a decoy.

    Marian : Care to frisk me?

    Robbo : I just did.

  • Will : [imitating James Cagney]  Hey, hey, wait a minute. Didn't you hear him say just a second. That's it. Don't get smart. You understand?

    Robbo : Hey, hey, what is that?

    Will : I saw it in the movies.

  • Robbo : You a drinkin' man?

    Little John : Yeah, anytime.

  • Robbo : How do I know where your knitting is?

  • Robbo : What, are you tired, pal?

    Little John : Boy, I've been interviewing cigarette girls all day.

    Robbo : Good thing we only need two.
