The Midwest Premiere of the hit Columbia film, The Heroes of Telemark, took place at Chicago at the Roosevelt theatre (State nr Washington) on Wednesday, January 19, 1966. An ad reads: "When the frozen hell of Telemark, Norway was the hottest place in the world . . . the true, incredible story of nine heroic men of resistance. . . Their mission: stop the Nazis from developing the atom bomb! . . . Heroes of Telemark has that Guns of Nvarone excitement!--Earl Wilson, nationally syndicated columnist"
