- Marie I smokes in a bathroom while Marie II does her makeup. Marie I forces the cigarette into Marie II's mouth, telling her that she must smoke. Marie II shames her for smoking and gives the cigarette back to her.

- The girls lay on a dining table wrapped up in newspaper suits, when all of the sudden a glass chandelier falls on them. However, no harm is shown because it cuts to a shot of city demolition.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Marie 2 attempts suicide by gas poisoning, however she forgets to close the window and is fine.
- There is a brief scene in which the Maries stumble out of a tunnel in blackface. Although it's short, it's still quite shocking.
