Great animation, great story

So, Ivo Caprino was this Norwegian doll and film-maker, that held his secrets close to his chest for almost his whole life.

I grew up with my father always saying "nobody knows how he does it!". Now the doing it is referring to how he gave his dolls life. Nobody could figure it out, and it added a whole lot of mystery to the whole thing.

Now we know, and the system he invented is pretty neat. Forget it! I won't tell you! It's a secret, for crying out loud! ;)

So. Ivo Caprino produced a whole lot of movies, among them several that were based on well known fairy tales. They are pretty much all great.

And this one is no exception. The animation is excellent, and has a super distinct look, that makes you know this is Caprino handy-work. Great.

A straight forward, funny fairytale

I think this is a decent movie that keeps the humor all the way. The concept of "never" being able to ask the actual "master" of the house because there are an "infinite" amount of generations is just funny. Recommending for every family, and it always makes you smile while watching!

The animation is full of nice little touches that`ll impress you and the whole thing is very atmospheric and stylish that will impress not only the little kiddies but everyone.
