Fabulous series. A joy.

Plot unknown it says. Well Alastair Sim plays a bored judge having to deal with mundane cases which come before him. Then there is Mr Haddock. The name instantly lightens the judge's mood as he is assured of cases using little recognised legislation to combat supposed authority. Haddock always defends himself and the judge is far from being impartial, always on Haddock's side.

The greatest TV programme ever made

Interestingly this is possibly the only Court based comedy series in UK TV history. I watch repeats most evenings (audio only).
