Good but not great!

Any movie with the great Ugo Tognazzi, one of the greatest actors ever, it's a real event. Whatever the script is stupid and trivial, he manages to improve everything. He does a very good role here too, in his unique style. It's not the extraordinary level of "The Monsters" (1963), "A Question of Honor" (1966), "La Grande Bouffe" (1973) or "My Friends" (1975). The unknown Isabella Rei is extraordinarily natural in the role of a very young sentimental scammer. Very good and natural are also the unknowns Lilla Brignone and Corrado Sonni, in the roles of the mother and father of the scammer. Great music by Luis Enriquez Bacalov. Franco Giraldi, the director, does not have any great films under his belt, he is best known as assistant director for Sergio Leone's "A Fistful of Dollars".
