Sex & Nudity

  • The protagonist is seen in bed with his girlfriend in a post-coital scene. No explicit nudity; bare-chested male and bare back of female only.
  • Two Puerto Rican brothers, aged 9 and 11, are seen in various states of undress throughout the film. In one scene, they take turns bathing in a tub. The older brother stands on a chair wearing only sneakers and briefs and pours a pot of hot water on the younger brother, who stands up slightly in the tub, briefly exposing his bare bottom to the camera. When the older brother bathes, he sits in the tub with his penis slightly exposed. In another scene, the father discovers his two young sons after they've been stripped naked and tied up by a gang of bullies. The younger brother is seen only from the side, while the older brother can be seen from the front, giving a brief glimpse of his penis and scrotum.
  • Later in the film, the boys play on an abandoned beach. They are only shirtless for most of the scene, still wearing shorts, but at one point their father calls for them and they run out of the water, revealing that they are now both naked. They run out of the water and across the beach toward their father with their backs facing the camera, displaying their bare bottoms. Still later in the film, the boys are admitted to a hospital, where they wear hospital gowns and nothing else. The backs of their gowns remain open, revealing their bare bottoms.
