A scientist is persuaded by the government to inject himself with the brain fluid of a German scientist (Hauser), who had been held against his will behind the Iron Curtain since WWII. It is believed that his knowledge of Soviet scientific secrets can be known through memory transference. However, the young scientist finds that he is now torn between his own wife and the will and motivations of the man whose memories he now carries within him and who seeks revenge on those who betrayed him.
