Christopher Mitchum was working in the accounting office on this production when the film's director, Hy Averback, asked him to act in the film. Mitchum was paid $500 a week to act, but he was still able to work in the office when he wasn't acting, so he received checks for both jobs.
Fourth film from distributor Cinerama in just two years to be titled with a question mark, alongside How Do I Love Thee? (1970), They Shoot Horses, Don't They? (1969) and What Ever Happened to Aunt Alice? (1969); Where Does It Hurt? (1972) would soon follow.
