Nice songs, wonderful backgrounds, witty scenes!

This Roy Black-movie is more than just another "Schlager"-vehicle, it's a semi-dramatic lovestory set in a Thailand-like country in Asia. It's interesting because former "Tarzan" Lex Barker (who was very popular in Germany in the sixties) plays his last role as a pilot. Eddi Arent takes care of the comedy and he does that, as usually, very competent. Black performs some of his finest songs in this peril of German filmmaking.
