He is motivated to help because he had been falsely imprisoned in South America for espionage.—C. Rohnacher <ARSU14A@prodigy.com>
- Tony Blake is a wealthy Los Angeles based illusionist with his own renowned and successful nightclub act. He was once imprisoned in South America on trumped up charges, he who has the physical scars of the experience, most specifically around his wrists as he was shackled, as a reminder of that time. He escaped, he helping another inmate in a similar situation in the process. That fellow inmate, who died shortly thereafter, left Tony his vast wealth. Among Tony's material possessions includes a jet, on which he is able to travel the world on a whim as needed with the help of his pilot Jerry Anderson. What that prison experience also led to was Tony's realization of the value of life, his which was almost taken away. As such, he has vowed to himself to help his friends in need who are in mortal danger, largely by his money and his skills as an illusionist/magician. Among those helping him in his missions are: his San Francisco based best friend, controversial columnist Max Pomeroy; Max's wheelchair-bound son, Dennis Pomeroy, a crack researcher; and his assistant, Dominick.—Huggo
