Sex & Nudity

  • The outlines of Edwina's nipples, among other women, can be be seen in their sweaters in a couple scenes.
  • A woman gets a massage and her husband is listening outside the door thinking she's having sex because of the noises that she's making.
  • Trevor Dickman is clearly a womanizer and puts his hand on Edwina's thigh, rubbing it, and later, his hand almost on her rear end.
  • Although not sexual a woman is injected with a sedative in her buttocks.

Violence & Gore

  • A group of people murder George Maxwell with broken bottles, knives, etc. and he is seen later all cut up and bloody.
  • Hector Snipe has a spear shoved through his chest and his body is tied to the back of a horse and dragged along a road (quite bloody).
  • Horace Sprout's head is cut off with a saw (We see blood spurting from his neck and later see him decapitated).
  • Trevor Dickman's chest is cut open and his heart ripped out (his bloody heart is later shown in a present box when Devlin opens it).
  • Meredith Merridew has a funnel inserted down his throat and Lionheart stuffs food down the funnel causing Merridew to die.
  • Oliver Larding is drowned in a vat of wine.
  • Chloe Moon is electrocuted and we see the brutal electrical burns afterwards.
  • A man is clubbed over the head and kidnapped.
  • Solomon Psaltery suffocates Maisie Psaltery with a pillow.
  • A police officer is murdered when the car he is hiding in is parked on train tracks (Happens offscreen but we hear it over a radio).
  • A bloody fencing fight in which Devlin's chest is slashed several times but he survives.
  • Edwina is presumably killed with a blow to the head by another woman with a trophy statuette.
  • Lionheart falls to a fiery death with the dead Edwina.
  • Lionheart attempts suicide by jumping from a balcony into the Thames River in a flashback.

Profanity

  • 'Damned' is said twice.
  • 'Hell' is said once.
  • 'Bitch' is said once.
  • 'Faggot' is said once in a Shakespearean speech, referring to a bundle of sticks. Since it is said while Vincent Price is disguised as a gay hairdresser it could have a double meaning.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Member of a group of homeless people are shown drinking alcohol several times.
  • The camera focuses on a cigarette being put out in an ashtray. Moments later another person is smoking a cigarette while talking to several other people.
  • A man suggests to a group that they drink some wine, but is interrupted.
  • Several people drink champagne.
  • A man visits a wine tasting and drinks several glasses of wine.
  • Adults drink alcohol and smoke cigarettes thoughout the film.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some viewers may be disturbed by the death of two dogs.
  • The several deaths throughout may be difficult for some viewers.
  • The murder scenes mentioned are all pretty intense.
  • There are a few other frightening scenes throughout the film.
