• Alex Warren : [Alex is stopped by a local cop on his way to Rockfield]  Morning, George.

  George the Cop : [noticing a old fishing boat on the trailer in the back of Alex's station wagon]  What have you got there?

  Alex Warren : Fishing gear.

  George the Cop : Is that right? I hear you're going down to Rockfield City to see a couple of cop killers.

  Alex Warren : Well, I might stop on the way. Do a little fishing.

  George the Cop : Suppose I just take a little look there in the back?

  Alex Warren : Do you got a warrant?

  George the Cop : [He looks at a canvas in the back of the wagon, where Cam and Eddie are hiding under]  You could have them right under that canvas. I can bust out this window.

  Alex Warren : If you were to break that window and weren't able to find anything, George, that would be the unluckiest thing you could do. That's unlawful search and seizure.

  George the Cop : [angrily]  What about goddamn obstructing justice?

  Alex Warren : The whole case would go on up through the courts and be thrown out. See you, George.

  [takes off]
