In my opinion, this one is a bit underrated. The movie tells us the story of a lawyer searching the truth behind a murder his client is accused for. In doing so he explores a network of blackmail and hidden love that finally leads to some personal conclusions.
I actually really liked the film. It treats the topic of homosexuality with respect and from different perspectives, features strong women but thereby doesn't turn all men into monsters. Especially for a movie that's a bit older, I am pleasantly surprised. As for the case itself, what we get is a pretty classic line of investigation, nothing all too exciting but nothing boring as well and decently scripted so you want to know how the action continues.
This is not a blockbuster or a must-see, you can live without it. But if you have a chance of giving it a watch and wonder if it's worth your time, in my eyes you should go for it.
