When in Jensen's office, the old parking attendant (played by Arthur Jensen) does not remember his own name, but says it could probably be Niels Peter Nielsen. Actually, Niels Peter Nielsen was the name of the caretaker at the Nordisk Film studios in Valby.
In the first two installments of the Olsen Gang series, the gang's base of operation was a local bar called 'Hamlet' owned by a character simply called 'Hansen' (Paul Hagen), as opposed to in Kjeld and Yvonne's flat in later films. By the end of Olsen-banden på spanden (1969), this bar has been shot up a total of three times by both foreign gangsters with Tommy Guns and CID inspector Mortensen (Peter Steen) armed with a Husqvarna submachine gun, all in pursuit of Egon Olsen and his gang and all to Hansen's ruin. In this film, Hagen plays a competing gang leader called 'Master Hansen' that has an unexplained hatred of the Olsen Gang and especially Egon Olsen; Suggesting that Hansen the ruined bar owner has since progressed to form his own criminal gang fueled by hatred of Egon Olsen.
Ole Ernst could not repeat his role as Holm due to scheduling conflicts and was replaced by Dick Kaysø for this film only.
