Downright Awful

It looks awful, it sounds awful, it is awful. Erik Clausen's social realism is not funny nor well made. This movie is about 2 touring streetperformers being joined by an unusually dim-witted girl. Any attempt at humor falls flat on the ground. Embarrassing, elephantine movie. Avoid it. 1/10

A typical Erik Clausen film, who once again shows society from one of its outsiders view. In this movie we follow two artists, who in the summer travels around Denmark with their small circus trying to make a living and make their dreams come true.

It is a hard and warm movie, which shows the tough times around the early 80s in Denmark for small artists and free spirits.

I can only recommend this movie to all who got a little free spirit left in their own body and still think there is something to fight for in this world. And for the rest of you: see it, so there is maybe a little chance that you can get it BACK....
