Flotte Teen Anna Maria goes back to school
Chip_douglas5 March 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Fich man's daughter Angela Pastorellli (Anna Maria Rizzoli) decides to go back to school after spending some years in Africa. The first thing she does is fall head over heels for the local Fonzie (Leo Colonna, who as usual goes by the name of Carlo in the picture). And since he proudly proclaims to be doing the same term for the third time in a row, they are conveniently the same age.

But Carlo starts playing hard to get as soon as he find out who's daughter Angela is. He tells her she'll have better luck hitting on the school principal, Rodolfo Calabrone (Lino Banfi). Naturally Angela does just that, although instead of actually seducing him, she starts babysitting his little boy Tonino. The principal has enough trouble as it is, coping with two insufferable pranksters amongst his students and bossy colleague Monica Zappa (Ria De Simone).

Also thrown into the mix is Alvaro Vitali, playing a science teacher rather than a student for a change. His character, Beccafico, is hopelessly in love with Monica as well as the constant butt of his students' jokes. Carlo takes advantage of the fact that Beccafico is living across the street from Calabrone by stirring up all of the teacher's emotions. Meanwhile Angela's friend Lisetta (Loredana Martínez) grabs her chance to get herself a piece of Carlo. It appears that everybody in the picture lives in the same apartment block.

Released in 1980, this sexy comedy is threading familiar water and by this time the sex part had become pretty tame. Moreover the characters by now were all quite predictable and the gags repetitive. Interestingly, the film was released in two versions in Germany (where all the various school based comedies were released under the 'Flotte Teens' title). First in an edited version that was dubbed, then a complete version with the deleted scenes reinstated, but still in Italian with German subtitles.
